August 6, 2026: first build

The site's first build. Wage year 2026-27 loaded from ALC_Export.csv in OFLC_Wages_2026-27.zip: 449,440 rows covering 530 areas and 848 occupation codes.

Selection built from the FY2025 Q1 to Q4 LCA disclosure data, 103,285 certified H-1B filings analysed. That produced the 60 occupations by filing volume and the 40 areas by filing volume, the latter from the 10,792 filings whose county resolves to an OFLC area, which is 10.4% of the certified set. 220 occupation-by-area combinations cleared both the volume floor and the GeoLvl 1 gate.

Trust layer published: methodology, sources, about, disclaimer, data, this log, and the wage level explainers.

What gets logged here

Two kinds of change. Data refreshes: a new wage year, a new quarterly disclosure file, a revised Appendix A workbook. Methodology changes: anything that alters how a figure on this site is derived, including the worksheet flag, the selection thresholds, and the GeoLvl rule.

The one to watch for is the annual roll on July 1, 2027. Every figure on the site changes that day, and the wage year label on every page changes with it.
