One person. No team, no firm, no credentials claimed.

The short version

wagelevel is built and run by one person. There isn't a team behind it and there's no organization to escalate to. I read the Department of Labor's published wage data, do the arithmetic on it, and show the working.

I'm not an attorney. I'm not a tax professional and I'm not an immigration professional. I hold no license in any of those fields and I'm not going to imply one. If you need advice about a case, the people who can give it are licensed to do so and I'm not one of them.

What's actually defensible here

Two things: the arithmetic and the provenance. Every figure on this site comes from ALC_Export.csv in wage year 2026-27, or from the FY2025 Q1 to Q4 disclosure data, and every page says which. Annual figures are hourly x 2,080 and nothing else. The 60 occupations and 40 areas were ranked by 103,285 certified filings rather than picked by me. You can rebuild all of it from the same public files and check whether you get the same answer.

What isn't defensible is anything requiring judgement I'm not qualified to exercise. Methodology lists the rest of the limits without softening them.
