Where these figures come from
The Office of Foreign Labor Certification publishes one wage file a year covering 848 occupations across 530 areas of intended employment. That's 449,440 combinations, each carrying four wage levels and a mean.
The file is public and free. So the figures aren't the product here. What this site adds is the derivation: which Job Zone the occupation sits in, what the usual entry education is, how those two decide where the requirement lands, and whether the area's figure was surveyed locally or imputed from somewhere larger. That last one matters and most tools don't tell you.
